I am married to my best friend of 12 years! Together we have a son, two dogs, a cat, and chickens! Sometimes it feels like a mini zoo at our house! We have lived in Cleveland for about four years now. Before moving to Cleveland, we lived in North Carolina where my husband was in the Marine Corps - talk about life lessons and growing up - and I was a teacher. We have fallen in love with our simple life here in Cleveland and are so thankful for the friends, church body, and business connections we have made!
As a long-time planner, event coordinating has been a hobby of mine. As a long-time frugal gal, merging that with event coordinating became the ultimate passion. Being able to be a part of someone’s wedding is such an honor! The skills and abilities I have to offer my expertise in planning, but also advice from a frugal perspective, is super beneficial to any couple planning a wedding on a budget. My whole purpose is to help take the stress off of you, create, and plan a magical wedding for you on a budget that doesn’t make you nauseous!
What drives me to be so forward in my business mission is that I was a budget bride. My whole wedding was around $5000! I had the best time! I loved the venue and decor, I loved the dancing, I loved that my mom (and best friend) pretty much took the wheel and really helped plan everything! That is what I want to be for you - your personal assistant, the one who takes all your to do’s and gets it done!
I love rustic and whimsical weddings, neutrals with a splash of color in the palette, in a garden or an industrial venue. I am a sucker for a traditional ceremony space and my favorite part of the ceremony is the exchanging of vows.
Weddings are a little bit different now than even just 50 years ago. Traditions still stand in some respect; but, with the emergence of more blended and extended families, it can be interesting to see how people include their loved ones. I love seeing ceremonies of all sizes.
I love helping people curate their vision into actual wedding day plans. It is so satisfying to see a bride's face light up when I "get it." I love being able to help incorporate the groom's ideas as well. I think wedding planning is one of the first eye openers at what marriage will look like. It's about communication, boundaries, working together, and compromise. I am here to help!
I am an enneagram two through and through. I love to help people. I am always sincere, empathetic, and strive to be endlessly kind.
Legit, I need at least one cup of coffee a day to function. My favorite coffee shop in Cleveland, TN is Bonlife Coffee Roasters. They serve the best vanilla bean latte with oat milk. *chef's kiss*
I get the big blended families! I come from one and my husband, too! Fun fact, my little sister is almost a year older than my son. Talk about age gaps!
I have lived in ten different cities, seven of them before I was in high school. I have lived in Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
You could show me any shade of purple and I will love it. It's my favorite color, over greens and yellows.
